I want to share some sad news about Pippy, a beloved yellow lab and a familiar face on my YouTube channel. Pippy first appeared on the channel in 2017 and quickly became a favorite with her outgoing personality and undeniable charm. She was the perfect dog for YouTube, always calm and well-behaved, making her the ideal companion for our videos.
Pippy’s Health Struggles
Unfortunately, Pippy faced health challenges in her later years. As a larger breed, she developed progressive arthritis and rear limb weakness. A few months ago, she showed marked gastrointestinal signs and even went through periods where she wouldn’t eat. Despite multiple vet visits and treatments for infections, her energy continued to decline.
Pippy’s Peaceful Passing
About a week ago, Pippy went to sleep and didn’t wake up. Her passing has had a profound impact on me, even though she wasn’t my dog. I consider myself a step-pet parent, and her loss has been difficult to process. Pippy’s family, George, Sophie, and Sabine, have also been deeply affected. I’m relieved that she’s no longer in pain and that she passed away peacefully at home, but her absence leaves a void.
The Impact of Pets on Our Lives
Pippy’s passing has reminded me of the significant impact our pets have on our lives. They leave lasting memories and their loss can be deeply felt. I’m grateful for the time Pippy spent with us, and for the joy she brought to our channel and our lives. She will be dearly missed.

Pippy’s legacy lives on through the many videos and moments we shared. She was a constant presence, always ready to explore and bring happiness to those around her. Her ability to get into all the nooks and crannies and her enthusiasm for life were infectious. Pippy’s passing serves as a reminder to cherish the time we have with our pets and to appreciate the unconditional love they offer.
I’m so sorry for yours & Pippi’s family’s loss. Having 2 senior pups of my own, it’s definitely something I think about often & albeit, they’re healthy & happy, thank God, still it’s on my mind. Because of your supplements, my 2 older dogs are getting the proper nutrients to help them age gracefully & a bit easier & for that I’m thankful. Prayers of peace & comfort to you! ??
