So very sorry about Lewis. Loosing a pet is tough. But it makes room in our homes and hearts for another. If adopting from a shelter, to save a life.
Great information, I like the idea of using green tea for it’s healing properties instead of water as an inert ingredient.
I find all of your information very helpful. I have several of your ebooks and courses. I am trained as a Veterinary Nurse, of course via the western medicine model and as you do, I believe using a more natural approach is much more healthy. Treat the dis-ease not just the symptoms.
There is however a place and need for conventional medicine at times. In fact it’s very good at fixing broken things. 🙂
I wonder if you could show us how to treat external parasites such as Demodex and skin mites? I can’t find anything on the topic in the works of yours that I have st this time, except Heartworm. Thank you for that and all you do for our animals.!

I am so incredibly sad to hear about your loss of Lewis. My heart breaks for you and your family. The loss of a pet is something that way too many people think is just nothing. Not anyone who has ever had an animal that they love. I had too put my Sparky down 2 weeks ago tomorrow and my heart feels like it will never mend. Lewis and Sparky are playing together at Rainbow Bridge and we will see them again.
I have been following your site for many years and have told many of my other dog loving friends about you. So happy that you do what you do, and I know throughout my Sparkys life, you have saved me a lot of money and time spent in vets offices. Sparky had allergies and wish I could have tried the green tea and acv on him. I do have another dog and so the information is still very useful. Thank you for this info. I have 4 bloodhounds, 2 with reoccurring ear infections. I looked at the ingredients in Monostat here in the us and it did not have the clotrimazole as the active ingredient. I was able to find clotrimazole creams and athletes foot creams with clotrimazole, however there are several other inactive ingredients in all of the creams. Should I be concerned proceeding with any of these creams and their inactive ingredients.
Here are the active ingredients in one specific cream – Brand: Family Care Clotimazole
cetyl alcohol
propylene glycol
stearic acid
mineral oil
polysorbate 60
sorbitan monostearate
benzyl alcohol
Just want to make sure I do not damage their hearing with another ingredient. Thank You The Hilton Hounds
The bigger concern is making sure the cream is safe for use inside the ear canal, especially if the eardrum is damaged. We wouldn’t recommend using a human athlete’s foot cream in the ears without checking with your vet first, as the inactive ingredients and the condition of the eardrum matter too.

Just be sure to check with your vet first, especially if your dog takes any medications. Happy to help keep those tails wagging!
Will the anti-fungal cream treat any pus in addition to the gunk/debris in ears, thanks.
The antifungal cream may help if yeast is part of the problem, but pus can indicate a bacterial infection that needs different treatment. If there’s pus, pain, or a strong odor, we recommend having your vet check the ears before applying anything. Ear infections can be tricky little beasts!
