  1. My cats are indoor cats. Out of 4 cats, 2 will escape when the dogs go out but we are able to get them right back inside.
Last year our oldest cat had a tumor removed. Our vet said it was vaccination sarcoma. Should we get the cats vaccinated for anything? Can the dogs bring anything inside that will affect the cats? Will the sarcoma return?
    Thank you, Nikki Pogorzelski.

  2. Nikki, I think it’s better to get your cats vaccinated than to not. Yes there is a risk of vaccine-related cancers but the risk of cancer is lower than the risk of things like rabies. I’m also pretty sure there are vaccination methods that don’t carry the cancer risk so you might look into that. It’s been a while since I read about it so I can’t remember what they are.
