[Maui, Canada fires] Disaster Preparedness Kit

The wildfires in Maui have affected thousands of people, and their pets. The scenes have been unbelievable, and just so tragic.

Wildfires are now burning near me, with multiple active fires in a larger close by city (Kelowna), forcing immediate evacuation of thousands of people and their animals. To the North in NWT, thousands of people/pets are now being evacuated.

My thoughts of support go out to everyone affected, and I encourage others to donate whatever they can to local animal shelters, who are working hard to rescue as many animals as possible.

In addition, organizations like the Red Cross and Humane Society International have been doing great work in providing relief for displaced families and their pets.

The importance of volunteering our time and donating money cannot be understated.

Our business, Veterinary Secrets, will be donating a percent of all sales over the next week to the Maui Humane Society, as well as donating to the SPCA here in Canada.

Best Wishes,

Dr Andrew

P.S. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by these fires.

Get yourself ready for a potential emergency- it’s far easier to do it now before it happens.

Donate if you can.
