There’s a good chance that you, and your pets may be eating a livestock drug banned in 160 nations
Here’s the surprising story….raising more questions about additives in our food system, and
who’s interest our regulators are REALLY interested in..

Why Has the FDA Allowed a Drug Marked ‘Not Safe for Use in Humans’ to Be Fed to Livestock Right Before Slaughter?
While researchers and scientists investigate the cause of our diabetes, obesity, asthma and ADHD epidemics, they should ask why the FDA approved a livestock drug banned in 160 nations and responsible for hyperactivity, muscle breakdown and 10 percent mortality in pigs, according to angry farmers who phoned the manufacturer.
The beta agonist ractopamine, a repartitioning agent that increases protein synthesis, was recruited for livestock use when researchers found the drug, used in asthma, made mice more muscular says Beef magazine.
But unlike the growth promoting antibiotics and hormones used in livestock which are withdrawn as the animal nears slaughter, ractopamine is started as the animal nears slaughter.
As much as twenty percent of Paylean, given to pigs for their last 28 days, Optaflexx, given to cattle their last 28 to 42 days and Tomax, given to turkeys their last 7 to 14 days, remains in consumer meat says author and well known veterinarian Michael W. Fox.
Though banned in Europe, Taiwan and China–more than 1,700 people were “poisoned” from eating Paylean-fed pigs since 1998 says the Sichuan Pork Trade Chamber of Commerce– ractopamine is used in 45 percent of US pigs and 30 percent of ration-fed cattle says Elanco Animal Health which manufactures all three products.
How does a drug marked, “Not for use in humans. Individuals with cardiovascular disease should exercise special caution to avoid exposure. Use protective clothing, impervious gloves, protective eye wear, and a NIOSH-approved dust mask” become “safe” in human food? With no washout period?
The same way Elanco’s other two blockbusters, Stilbosol (diethylstilbestrol or DES), now withdrawn, and Posilac or bovine growth hormone (rBST), bought from Monsanto in 2008, became part of the nation’s food supply: shameless corporate lobbying. A third of meetings on the Food Safety and Inspection Service’s public calendar in January 2009 were with Elanco, a division of Eli Lilly–or about ractopamine.
So what can you do?
Preferably, feed your pet’s NON contaminated beef and beef products.
Natural/Organic
Make some of your pet’s food with local beef if possible.
CONTINUE to be a SKEPTIC.
Question what you are told by the supposed ‘EXPERTS’ and think for yourselves.
Here are some NON additive eating pets…

How do we know if it’s in human or animal food?
Thank you for exposing yet another “ingredient” in the toxic “soup” of regular food production. I so agree with you to “know the source” of your pets and your food and know that pet food labels are a joke. If they would list all the “may contain” ingredients on their kibble bags, they’d need an extra sheet. I feel the same way about most commercial pet food, hence my call to make your own http://www.30dayswithoutkibble.com and really be dilligent in screening yours and your pets food. If food is not for “human consumption” why feed it to my best buddy?
You are doing such amazing work to educate pet owners of the pit falls in the pet industry – Thank You for all you do for our 4 legged people.
Do you think the pet food companies will know if they use this tainted meat? Or is this going to turn into another pet food disaster?
Have you heard of Darwin’s Natural Pet Products? I’m thinking of switching to them–they make raw food and ship it to you.
Again, THANKS for keeping us so informed. I don’t know if you’ll go to doggie and kitty heaven or people heaven, but you’re definitely going to go somewhere GREAT!
I feed my dogs raw, mostly chicken but also pork and beef occasionally. I don’t feed them anything I wouldn’t eat myself and they are quite happy and healthy. They also do NOT get regular vaccines. Thank you for letting us know ,again, something we didn’t. I will research this, a good consumer is an educated consumer. I can’t wait till I retire to the country and grow my own meats and veggies again. PS. I also save a small fortune by cutting up whole chickens instead of buying the outrageously expensive raw packaged foods, a lot of which have a lot of veggies in them not meat. Thanks again for the info. keep up the great work lots of us really appreciate it.
Its amazing how compliant we citizens are as they slowly poison our families, & our pets. Dr Jones, do you ever feel like your screaming at the top of your lungs to warn people of a mass murder coming.. Kind of link the midnight ride of Paul Rovere.. except with you, no one listing? I was a vet tech in from mid 1975 to late 1995, & I watched as Cancers in pets went from, very rarely seeing it in patients, to seeing it almost every day. We, at our clinic knew why the increase in cancers was happening..The pet food companies were using higher levels of BHT/BHA preservatives to save money by producing garbage for our pets.
My employers was one of the only Veterinarians in town to stop selling Science Diet, because he saw them as one of the worst offenders of the genocide happening. The food industry wasn’t satisfied just killing off the pet population.. Since they had been getting away with poisoning the animals, they turned their sites to saving money producing by dumping those same chemicals into the human production of food. They’ve become so brazen with they’re success, now ractopamine! And there’s very little resistance. America might be the first to allow this crap in, but I’ll guarantee you, this is part of the WHO agenda, & the agenda include Codex Alimentarius. Regardless of what the WHO will advertise them as (“Public Health Commission”). When you look up their Bio.. you’ll see they started out a “Trade Commission”, & thats what they do to this day. They want to make, & enforce the Food & Drug Laws of every member country of the WHO. The United States was the last road block to their plan, but our Government’s 111th congress gave into them. So it will be interesting to see how they pull off the task of taking it over in every country. But thanks Dr Jones.. For two years, I’ve read your newsletters, ordered several things from you, & passed out a lot of your emails to friends & family. Watching you fight to get your message out has helped me to see that, one man truly can not take on city hall. But your a hero to a lot of people who watch you try.

I think us humans s/b able to make a decision in
regards to euthanizing. We s/b allowed to be put out of our misery. I watched my mother-in-law suffer for 7 days when she was dying from pancreatic cancer. She was continually pumped up with morphine the last seven days of her life and in spite of this I still heard her say under her breath take me Jesus. Not only is it hard on the patient, it is painstaking for the family watching another human suffer.
