Very informative!
Thank you Dr. Jones
Thanks again Dr. Jones! And may I pass on a little story that may be helpful:
The other morning I came into the kitchen to find my cat reaching her front paw into the toaster searching for tasty crumbs. You guessed it…the toaster was plugged in!!! I caught her just in time, and now unplug the toaster when it is not in use.
I have been concerned about the protein content in the food I have been feeding my dog for allergies and wondered if it was enough. Feel I got my answer from watching !
I just started my small 9 year old terrier on Nature’s Variety Instinct LID for small breeds. She seems to be doing well on it and loves it since it has freeze dried raw pieces of turkey. Now I’m concerned that it’s too high in protein which is 32%. I always heard that the more protein the better since there would be less carbs. Should I keep her on a food this high in protein since she’s a lapdog?
Any recommendations for my 13 year old miniature poodle she had a stroke a week and a half ago caused by medications given to her when she had her teeth cleaned she was healthy 13 year old energetic now not the same they said she’s going to need to eat a prescription KD diet dog food was wondering if you had any recommendations I’ve been cooking her food so far
I was also wondering if I could send you a copy of her test results if you could tell me what you think about it because her blood tests were perfectly normal two months ago and then now this kidney thing so I’m just really confused and I don’t talk to that Animal Hospital anymore because they’ve done nothing but make my dog spiral downhill
