Veterinary Secrets is finally coming out- it will be of interest to you, and many of your friends.

New Vaccine Schedule
One of the more common questions I receive is about pet vaccines.
What to give?
How often?
Should I have the boosters?
In this video I reveal my modified advised vaccine regimen, along with homeopathics that you can give after vaccines to potentially decrease the chance of side effects.
You can see this at 10:01 of the video.
Best Wishes,
Dr Andrew Jones, DVM
P.S. The issue of vaccines is substantial- especially in light of the increased news coverage on infectious disease such as Ebola.
Most of this is being covered because it is newsworthy, dramatic, NOT because there is a serious risk to us.
Infectious disease in our pet is much the same- meaning the ‘risk’ factor has been extensively used to sell repeated vaccines, and that what is really needed is far less.
On top of this these repeated vaccines have caused a lot of harm.
What I suggest, and what I would give my own pet is on the video.
Ebola is used in your headline. The Africans, especially Nigerians, suffered deeply and felt abandoned by the world, but NIH and WHO and other organizations were researching it, having learned a lot from the AIDS research. Vaccines helped to save a few lives as part of a broader approach. I looked up the Italy Novartis vaccine ban and that was from last year I see; the ban was lifted according to one news article.
I agree about pets’ overvaccination. In Montgomery Cty Md, a dog or cat could receive a one-year rabies every year if paperwork is not kept current. It’s crazy and potentially harmful. I’d say a good number of indoor-only pets don’t get any rabies vaccinations at all. My cats are exposed to foxes, possums, coons, bats, in our woodsy lot, so I try to stay current. I always wondered how much residual coverage they’d get say from a 3-year; how far out could we go — an additional year? I’m talking now about complete coverage, esp say if I got a cat bite 6 mos after vaccine expiration…
