Ivermectin for Cancer
Dr Jones’ Free Webinar http://www.theomega3supplement.com/webinar
A recent scientific paper was published ‘Ivermectin, a potential anticancer drug derived from an antiparasitic drug’
Ivomec is an older animal dewormer and is now being used for people. This new paper discusses how ivermectin can be effective against cancer.

Dear Dr. Jones,
A couple weeks ago, a mass was removed from jaw of our 88lb 9-yo black lab, Zeus. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with Oral (amelanotic) Malignant Melanoma with possible early lymph node metastases. His CT scan showed very minimal changes to the bone and no tumor in the nasal cavity.
Options are; 1) aggressive surgery with removal of part of jaw and lymph node and treatment with immunotherapy and melanoma vaccine, prognosis 15-18 mos, 2) vaccine treatments and no surgery prog 10-12 mos, or 3) palliative care w/piroxicam along with Chinese herbs prog 4-6 mos.
We know the great benefits of ivermectin for humans and have some here at home (6mg tabs). We want to start giving to Zeus and will follow your dose recommendations. Can we use these tablets instead of injections, and how often do we give it to him?
Your article and video posted yesterday (same day we received Zeus’ report). I don’t believe in coincidences.
We look forward to your response and any suggestions you may have.
Thank you so much,
Lisa and Ray
My cat has cancer too. I want to try ivermectin.
My cat has tumor in mouth. I need Ivermectin!
Any brand of Ivermectin that can be bought on stores like Amazon.
A source we’ve used for Panacur here in Canada is “Pets Drug Mart”. You can order various amounts, it arrives in a bottle that’s filled when you order, it’s not a printed label -it’s looks like something you’d get from your Vet or a pharmacy – but it is legitimate. Here’s the direct link:

There is a powder that I get called Panacur. Fenbendazole/ivermectin.Amazon. Comes in powder.
Here is Dr. Jones’ advice on Panacur (Fenbendazole) for cancer:
The regimen for cancer is 50 mg/kg of body weight (or 23 mg per lb), once daily for 3 days on / 4 days off.
If Panacur (Fenbendazole) is in liquid form, it has a concentration of 100 mg/ml. For example, a 50 lb dog would receive 11.5 ml (1150 mg) per day for 3 days on / 4 days off.
If Panacur is in the form of granules or packets (222 mg/g), a 50 lb dog would get 5 granules, or 5 of the 1 g packets (5 g total).
If giving Panacur in paste form (100 mg/g), a 50 lb dog would receive 11.5 grams of Panacur.
Dr Jones suggests trying this for a month to see if your pet will respond.
Give your lab Ivermtin. I also read the report the vet in the video was referring. My lab is 9 years old. In November 2020 my vet removed sn apple size mass cell tumor (tested to be cancer) off my dog. She has grown 3 more tumors. I went to Tractor Supply and got Ivermticin 1.87% for horses. I place a drop from syringe on the edge of a spoon with peanut butter each day. My dog is tolerating it beautifully. She actually seems to have more energy. I will continue to give her a daily dose until the large syringe in empty.
?, hi, I’m Dr. Michael Jones,DVM. I’m 90% equine practice so don’t see as many cancers as small animals, could be we deworm with Ivermectin & Fenbendazole regularly????. So far the Ivermectin has worked for squamous cell carcinoma, sarcoids, & melanoma cases. Currently trying it for auricular plaques…
Hi Dr Jones,
I currently have a gelding with squamous on his sheath. Do you have a published paper explaining dosage/course of ivermectin to treat this? We are doing Chemo injections but it seems to be only growing and quickly. My Vet and I are looking into finding the correct course using Ivermectin. Any help you can offer would greatly be appreciated.
how much are you using for the horse ? I have a horse with a similar problem, thanks
Where can I get the Ivermectin for my dog? Is Hartgard a viable source for cancer treatment?
Thank you
The recommended dose is 200 µg of ivermectin per kilogram of body weight. Each mL contains sufficient ivermectin to treat 50 kg of body weight; 10 mL will treat a 500 kg horse.
Watching your vid on Ivermectin for cancer. I understand the dose you are suggesting, but, curious on how often it would/should be repeated? Once a year seems right for parasites but cancer would be more aggressive. Should there be a repeat process, and how often. I have a German Shepherd and they are on the list of being susceptible to, or have issues with to much Ivermec.
Hello, my 11yr old dog had a massive tomour remove from bladder and was connected to slpeen. It is histiocystic sarcoma. Any chance this ivermectin can help? He’s about 17lbs. Thank you
Hi All,
Some great answers here but for more in depth answers, there are facebook groups for pets, cancer in pets et cetera. Just use the eyeglass search tool (it’s upper left on homepage of FB on my laptop version) with various terms. cat cancer solutions, dog cacer help, raw diet for pets
I’m on one Holistic Cats or something similar. Do check them out.
I’m leaving this here to help someone in similar situation. My one cat out of 3 is allergic to the high fish cat food. her neck was breaking out in welts. Her eyes would swell and just all over her face she had issues. If you are not sure what is causing your pet ailments switch to different food for a month or more and observe what disappears.
Hello, Dr Andrew,
Jumping the gun here but have just had cells taken from a mass behind my cat’s shoulder and awaiting results. Am thinking to start her on the panacur protocol for cancer as recommended on this site but also considering ivermectin. Do you have a dosage protocol you could recommend for her please regarding ivermectin? Should it be used in conjunction with other drugs?
She is approximately 14 years and currently appears healthy.
Many thanks.
For treating cancer with ivermectin, the typical dosage is around 200 µg per kg of body weight. For your cat, who weighs approximately 14 years old, the exact amount will depend on her weight, but a standard recommendation for a cat would be around 10 µg per lb of body weight.
The possibilities with Ivermectin seem awesome. Can you share any clinical evidence on how it works, which cancers, and doses studied?
?Ivermectin has shown potential as an adjunctive treatment for canine mammary tumors. A study published in Frontiers in Veterinary Science demonstrated that ivermectin inhibits the growth of canine mammary tumor cell lines by inducing cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase and downregulating cyclin D1 and CDK4 expression. Additionally, ivermectin reduced the nuclear translocation of ?-catenin, leading to inactivation of the WNT/?-catenin signaling pathway, which is often implicated in cancer progression.
In vivo experiments using a xenograft model further confirmed these findings, showing significant suppression of tumor growth without notable toxicity. The doses used in these studies ranged from 5 to 40 mg/kg, administered via intraperitoneal injection. However, caution is advised, as these doses are higher than those typically used for parasitic infections in dogs, and safety at these levels in clinical settings has not been established.
It’s important to note that while these results are promising, ivermectin is not currently approved for cancer treatment in dogs.
Hello,
Can anyone help? My 12 year old cat, Jack, has a large mass in his stomach wall. How often should I give my cat an oral dose of Ivermectin? Is this daily? I’ve done so much research and have found multiple strengths suggested for Ivermectin in cats, however, all the doses are ONE TIME ONLY for cats. What should I do? I love Jack so much and I’m trying to do what I can to help him through this.
Thank you for your thoughts.
I’m sorry to hear about Jack’s condition. Ivermectin has shown potential in cancer research, but its use in cats, especially for cancer treatment, is not well-established and can be risky.?
In cats, ivermectin is approved for heartworm prevention at a dose of 12 micrograms per pound (approximately 0.024 mg/kg) once monthly . However, higher doses, such as those used in cancer studies (up to 200 micrograms per kilogram), can be toxic to cats, leading to symptoms like lethargy, lack of coordination, vomiting, and even seizures .?
Hi, my 14 y.o. cat has a cancer. his body covers with bumps, and he has difficult to breath. My vet gave him fenbendazole, but new bums still grow, does not look fenbendazole help. I asked about ivermectin, but he said it is not save for cat. Is that true? Should I try? I love him so much; I cannot lose him. He is 9 pounds cat, 14 y.o. I have tablets for 12 mg. Can I give him and what dosage? I cannot buy Ivermectin without prescription, but on amazon i can buy paste 1.87% – what dosage for my cat? dont want to kill him by overdose. Thank you
I am so sorry you are going through this.
Current studies show Ivermectin to be beneficial for an array of cancers. There are no published animal doses for cancer, but it is used extensively in dogs/cats for parasites.
Dog dose of 1mg (0.1cc) per 10lbs daily for a minimum 30 days and assess response.
For your 9-pound cat, using the 1.87% ivermectin paste:
Dose: about 0.09cc (just under 0.1cc) once daily.
Start lower if possible to be safe (like 0.05cc), watch closely for side effects (drooling, weakness, vomiting).
Continue for at least 30 days and assess how he responds.
