[Podcast #5] |Probiotics, Antibiotics that kill, Anal Gland Answers
In this episode of Veterinary Secrets Dr Jones tells you about the array of studies backing the benefits of probiotics. Probiotics for diarrhea, probiotics for cognitive function, probiotics for allergy, probiotics for stress, and the use of probiotics to vastly improve immune functions.
The current vaccine media frenzy about measles is discussed in relation to the under reported story of how a bacteria caused by taking antibiotics, C. difficile, caused nearly 700,000 cases last year, and 29,000 deaths.
Then Dr Jones answers a listeners question on how to prevent recurring anal gland problems in their dog.

Great podcast! It was very informative and helpful.
Thanks.
Thank you Dr that’s very informative!
I give my pets the first vaccination only as I don’t believe giving it yearly that is required by the Vets. The problem with that is you cannot bring your animal to a Vet they don’t want your pet there without the yearly needles.
That’s why I studied the natural way which is safe. So far I’ve been lucky to help all my pets and are hoping that will continue.
Great Podcast

Wonderful information!
There are many canines, mine included, who are allergic to flax. What would be an EPA alternative to this and at what dose?
Thanks for all you do!

My cat 5 years old and already had three seizures they just last 3 second could you tell me if need to give her probiotics or should I give her some other supplement that will help her. I did take you to the vet and did blood work now I am waiting on the results I do not want to give the meds of the vet because their will be side effects.
