  1. You are awesome. I watch you regarding using natural and holistic remedies for verything that is happening with my little Dachshund, Benji. Recently diagnosed with high ALT (300+) probable liver disease and\or Cushing. He is only 2 years old! Banji,my mini dachshund was on Prednisone at 6 months old for too long. 2 months at least for puppy strangles and gastric issues. Then developing bleeding stomach ulcers I am assuming from prednisone. His diet consisted of boiled chicken and white rice, scrambled egg. No kibble of any kind even though he ate it when we got him at 10 weeks. Therefore he is not a fan of any kinds of dog food. I made and still make my own.. However, he may have gotten a lot of protein but little vitamins and carbs.

Now liver disease?!?! He is a licker so most likely toxins.I am using milkthistle, dandelion root, bone broth and coconut oil. Trying to detox the liver. Bone broth has ginger and turmeric. He is eating and drinking. I give him Royal Canine soft food.

He is itchin, losing some hair, and his front paw pads seem crusty. ( I treat that with Organic coconut oil. Is this hopeless? I watched your videos and one on liver disease. Bloodwork and vet visits are expensive of course. He will need a new ALT test soon.

How do you know when what I’m doing is working? I cannot lose this littwguy!

  2. I need CBD dosage recommendation for a 14 year old, spayed, 4.7 lb. cat. She is super tiny!
She weighed 3.9 lbs when she came to live with us 6+ yrs ago and we got her her to a beefy 4.7 lbs.
1 drop for a 10 lb cat appears to be too much for her tiny frame?
Thank you for your help with this.

    1. Hi, as Dr. Jones has stated, there is no established upper limit on CBD dosage – it is considered to be a very safe supplement. We have had subscribers with cats on 30-60mg per day (for epilepsy), which would be be 10 – 20 drops per day of our CBD. This is not typical and you would not start on such a dose, but just to show that CBD is safe to give and allows a wide range of safe dosages. 1 drop per day (3mg) is considered the lowest dose we would recommend.
