Good morning all.
I get a pile of stuff in my inbox, and for some reason I chose to read this story.
It is about a celebrity, her pet, and her newest business venture..
Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has her own line of lingerie, her own perfume, a
video game and a pop album, but now she really is going to the dogs ????? and we don’t
mean her no-contest plea to driving under the influence.
The former best bud of Britney Spears now has her own line of pet wear.
Little Lily, a pet lifestyle brand, Monday announced the launch of the Paris Hilton
Pet Collection, a range of apparel and accessories for ???œfashion-forward dogs.????
Hilton, the 25-year-old heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune, has been photographed on
numerous occasions with her dogs clad in their own fashionable outfits.
Chihuahua Tinkerbell, the most famous of her dogs, has been featured on the pages
of magazines and is well-known for her extravagant outfits.
The collection will include apparel, accessories, bedding, toys, the famed Lilyboots,
and will be available in stores early this year, with prices ranging from $25 to $350.
Paris Hilton has alot of influence as a celebrity. I just wish she could use some of it in
a creative, more useful way.
I am thinking that the world doesn’t really need more canine apparel…
How about someone to champion the thousands of pets waiting to be adopted in Animal Shelters
nationwide. In fat how about focusing on the “regular” mixed breed dogs and domestic
shorthair cats?
You may have noticed but the celebrity pet of choice is small, portable and purebred.
That being said, I do like small little Yorkies and Poodles..my daughter has decided she
wants a Poodle, but there are in “BIG” demand and have no shotage of potential owners.
The pets that really need the attention are usually older, and not purebred.
You can’t change a celebrity, but you can can make small changes yourself.
Go and spend some time at your local animal shelter- volunteer if you can.
If you are considering adopting a pet, consider a Mixed breed dog or domestic shorthair cat.
