Good morning to you and your pets.
I am running late today….another toxin emergency
last night. Dave the dog ate too much compost, but he looks
great now after vomiting, having some activated charcoal and
IV Fluids.
Today is Valentines Day..
For some it’s a day of Love..
For others it’s a cheesy commercial day that they
would just rather forget.

Does your dog or cat get a Valentine {!firstname} ?

Our pets deserve to be acknowledged.
Lewis( my dog) and Cleo ( my cat) are the BEST
LISTENERS.
They NEVER talk back.
I can be in a FOUL mood, but they are ALWAYS ready
for my attention..COMPLETELY Unconditional
Bad Weather?…Lewis could care less for he’ll go out
in any weather.
The House is a MESS?
Cleo is just FINE with that.
I am NOT in the mood for talking…
that’s a OK with both my dog and cat.
And what do they ask for in return?
Food
Water
Exercise
Attention/Love

So Happy Valentines to ALL of the Dogs and Cats out there
that enrich our lives in HUGE ways by providing UNCONDITIONAL
Love!!!

For Valentine’s day we thought we’d skip giving our 12 y/o Tonk cat his nutritional supplements (we use a medicine dropper) – a “night off” – a treat for him, we thought, since he seems to hates the process, but would never lick or taste the supplements on his own.
Well, he was having none of that. “What?!!!” his alarmed look at 9pm seemed to say – as he took his place near ‘medicine-dropper’ location. And refused to move!! He was actually alarmed, as though we didn’t care about him any more. He knew – despite all his acting up – we did this routine out of deep caring and love. A valentine validation. All the chocolate I needed was in that deep velvety brown Tonkinese.
Happy Valentine’s Day
