How Effective Is Garlic in Treating Warts on Pets?

Warts…known as papillomas in dogs and cats, are surprisingly common.. in most cases caused by a virus.

Confession.. I have had warts… the herpes virus (cold sores) popping up on my lips, and then don’t mention my feet (plantar warts)

When cold sores appear, one of the things I use is CBD (cannabidiol), as it works so well for topical pain relief. 2 weeks ago I used our NEW Multi cannabinoid blend which worked great!

We have a Natural, Whole Plant Extract CBD and Multi Cannabinoid tincture for Dogs and Cats.

Many pet parents are finding them especially beneficial for pain and inflammation. ( in general if the CBD does not help, try the cannabinoid blend)

Garlic Removes 100% of Warts in Clinical Study

Hello, I’m Dr. Andrew Jones, and today I’m excited to share some compelling research regarding the use of garlic in treating warts and corns. This study, published in the International Journal of Dermatology, has shown remarkable results and offers a natural alternative to traditional treatments.

Study Overview

The research was conducted by dermatologists from Shiraz University in 2005, focusing on the effects of garlic extracts on warts and corns. The study involved 33 participants who had multiple warts and were divided into three groups. The first group received a water extract of garlic applied twice daily, the second was treated with a fat-soluble garlic extract, and the third group was treated with a lipid solvent (chloroform and methanol) without garlic, serving as the control.

Results

The results were nothing short of impressive:

  • The water extract of garlic showed some effectiveness, removing small warts and reducing the size of larger ones. However, it was not as effective as the other treatments.
  • The control group using chloroform and methanol showed no improvement, indicating that these solvents alone did not affect the warts.
  • Most notably, the fat-soluble garlic extract removed 100% of warts in all participants within just one to two weeks. Additionally, it effectively cured corns in 7 out of 9 patients.

Why Garlic?

The researchers attribute the success of garlic to several properties:

  • Anti-viral: Garlic is known for its robust anti-viral properties, making it effective against the HPV virus, which causes common warts.
  • Anti-tumor: Warts, akin to benign tumors, are HPV-associated growths, and garlic has demonstrated effectiveness in destroying a variety of cancer cells.
  • Immune modulation: The enhancement of immunological responses by garlic may play a role in its effectiveness against warts and corns.
  • Fibrinolytic activity: The application of garlic extract appears to facilitate the removal of corns by breaking down the surrounding fibrin tissue.

Personal Experience and Recommendations

From my own experience, using fat-soluble garlic extract on warts can be incredibly effective. I have personally tried this remedy, and the results were fantastic—the unsightly foot warts are now gone! It’s important to note that we have no garlic products to sell; this recommendation is entirely unbiased.

In addition to garlic, for pets with conditions like arthritis or cognitive dysfunction, I recommend trying our CBD or Ultimate Cannabinoid Blend. These are whole plant extracts that provide a synergistic effect beneficial for various conditions, including warts and tumors.

Heal your pets at home with these natural remedies, and witness the power of alternative treatments firsthand.
